The Orisha Prophecy
Long before the First Empire, the orishas walked the earth in mortal flesh. They shaped mountains with their hands, spoke storms into being, and wove the fabric of fate itself. But power corrupts even gods, and a war among the orishas shattered the old world.
The prophecy speaks of the Storm Born - a child of two worlds, mortal and divine, who will rise when the orishas' ancient enemy returns. Born under a thunder moon in the village of Ise, Adeoti carries the mark of the Sky-Father orisha, Olorun.
But the Empire of Ilé-Ife has heard the prophecy too. Their god-kings send hunters to find the child before he can claim his birthright, for they know the Storm Born will shatter their rule and free the lands they have held for centuries.
